Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Just as I finished the second sock in this pair for CIC, I thought, "this one seems bigger than the other." I fished out sock #1; &*^%$#@! Took a close look at the needles I used for sock #2; double &^%$#@! I grabbed the size 6 dpn's instead of the size 5 set. I can't believe I didn't notice until I finished the second sock. What a doofus. So, tonight while I spend some quality time with Jack O'Neill, I'll be starting over. *sigh*

Hi Carol. Stopped by to share your pain on the socks that don't match.

I've done the same thing so I have plenty of sympathy for you.

They are cute socks, though.

Carol, both socks look great. It's just a matter of making a match. Is there any chance that you have enough yarn to make a twin for each? If not, please no that here is not a mistake you have made in sock knitting that I have not made along with you.

Still loving the socks,
Donna

Good idea, Donna. Unfortunately, the second sock took every last inch of the variegated yarn. :(
